FAQs

What kinds of dogs do you train?

I work with dogs of all breeds, ages, and temperaments—from energetic puppies to dogs with behavioral challenges. Every dog has the potential to learn and improve with the right approach.

Do you offer in-home training?

Yes! I provide in-home training sessions that allow me to work directly with you and your dog in your natural environment. It’s a great way to address real-life behavior where it matters most.

How long does training take?

Every dog learns at a different pace, so training length depends on your goals and your dog’s progress. Some dogs respond quickly within a few weeks, while others benefit from ongoing programs for lasting results.

Can you help with aggressive or reactive dogs?

Absolutely. Behavior modification for reactive, anxious, or aggressive dogs is one of my specialties. I focus on building trust, reducing triggers, and teaching calm, confident behavior through consistent guidance.

Are you certified or affiliated with any organizations?

Yes, I’m an American Kennel Club (AKC) evaluator, certified to conduct Canine Good Citizen (CGC) testing and other AKC training programs. This ensures every program I offer meets professional standards and proven methods.

What’s your training philosophy?

I believe in balanced, fair, and clear communication with every dog I work with. Training should never be about fear—it’s about respect, understanding, and helping dogs succeed in the human world.

What should I bring to my dog’s first session?

Bring your dog’s favorite treats, a sturdy leash, collar, or harness, and any questions you have! Most importantly, bring an open mind—training is as much for owners as it is for dogs.
