Guiding Dogs Toward Their Best Behavior
Hi, I’m Devon, the lead trainer and founder of USA Dog Training Academy. With over 17 years of hands-on experience, I’ve had the privilege of working with dogs of every breed, size, and personality. My mission is simple—to help each dog reach their fullest potential through patience, structure, and clear communication.
I’ve dedicated my career to understanding why dogs behave the way they do, and how to bring out the best in them. Whether I’m working with a rescue overcoming fear or a puppy learning basic manners, I believe every dog deserves a chance to thrive. No challenge is too great—with the right approach, every dog can learn to be calm, confident, and responsive.
As an American Kennel Club (AKC) evaluator, I also help dogs and their owners achieve certifications like the Canine Good Citizen test. But beyond titles and programs, what I value most is the bond that forms when a dog finally “gets it.” Seeing that moment of trust and understanding—that’s why I do what I do.
